Of the hotels around Disneyland, the ones at the park are
choice. You can walk or take the monorail to the park,
they are very nice, clean with professional staff and great
choices if you want to be as close to the park as possible.
The only drawback is the cost, but the Disneyland Hotel, Grand
Californian and Paradise Pier are all great hotels by Disneyland
to stay at.
If you are looking for hotels around Disneyland that are great
places to stay, but won't cost you a fortune, I have some of my
favorites written up below.
The Candy Cane Inn at 1747 South Harbor Blvd. You can
reach them at 800 345 5284. This hotel is very close to
Disneyland, less than a 10 minute walk. It also offers a
free shuttle to Disneyland and a free continental breakfast in
the morning. This hotel is a great place to stay, and you
can usually book a room for under $150 per night.
The Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel at 1380 South Harbor Blvd.
You can reach them at 800 422 4228. Howard Johnson's is a
great hotel chain, has clean rooms, hot tub, swimming pool and a
great water play area for the kids. You are less than a 10
minute walk from Disneyland, and there is also a shuttle
available. Another great value at about $140 per night.
The Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites at 1520 South Harbor Blvd.
You can reach them at 714 635 7275. It is very close to
Disneyland, less than a 10 minute walk, and has a pool on the
roof. This is also a good location to watch the fireworks
from. In addition, this hotel has a Tudor style
architecture to it. This one is a pretty good value, one
of the closest hotels around Disneyland, and you can stay for
around $160 per night.
The Alpine Inn at 715 W. Katella Ave. you can reach them
at 714 535 3714. Perhaps the most cost efficient of the
close hotels. This hotel is nothing special, but you can
walk to Disneyland in less than 10 minutes, and is one of the
least expensive hotels to stay at near Disneyland. Very
clean and nice people, you can get a room here for under $100 a
night. Look online for deals, it's not out of the question
to find rooms here for as little as $70 per night, great value.
